OK cheated on my girlfriend in a LTR. I do really care about her, my extracircular activities just got out of hand. I came clean to her and obviously she wasn't happy but we are still talking. I'm interested in doing what I can do get her back if possible. Like iI said we are still talking and I know she still cares about me.

How do I go about getting her back without coming off as desperate. I live in a different state now but she has mentioned the possibility of moving down here eventually. How do I communicate my care and want to be with her without being clingy or desperate? Is there a way to still remain in control? What things can I do to DHV?

I think the only thing you can do is to do the same as you did to get her in the first place. If she still cares about you she won't stop your advances.
