Posted here about a girl I fell pretty hard for who I used to work with and long story short, we both liked each other, but I never made a move. About a year has passed and I've grown a lot and have had successful lays since then. I ran into her the other day and she currently has a boyfriend, but she gave me tons of "IOIs." The same past feelings for her just rushed back when I saw her even though I'm hooking up with someone else right now...I just couldn't help it.

Here's the interesting part...one of her best friends gave me even stronger signs that she wanted me. She's hot too, but to be completely honest, I guess I never really got over girl 1 and would choose her over the best friend any day. I want to fuck the best friend, but if it means that will ruin my chances with girl 1 forever, I don't want to. IF my ultimate goal was to end up with girl 1 (I don't know how serious she is with her bf SPAM), what would be the best thing to do with the best friend to help get girl 1? Fuck her? hang out with her but don't hook up so she asks questions about us (jealousy)? or ....?

I'd go after the best friend and use it to make her jealous. Make it seem like you're better than her BF and let her friend rave about you. Then move in on the sly since you are both at least kinda "taken."

She will probably feel less bad about cheating if you are both dating someone and it's a "meant to be" kind of situation. You'd have to play it pretty suave and romantic, while showing her you want to stay faithful to her friend, but then "giving in" to the feeling anyway.

It's also a backhanded, malicious and fucked up thing to do, but if you play it right, you could fuck both. Be prepared for them to both hate you afterwards and for her BF to flip the fuck out as well.

...buuuuut, it can still work.

I'd advise AGAINST this method, but I've seen it done before.

I was also thinking a jealousy plot line would work, but I'm not sure how far to take it. Don't you think if I sleep with her best friend, she will never get with me (even if she wants me) due to loyalty? I was thinking about purposely putting myself in the friend zone and just hang out with her, so that girl 1 wonders and asks things like...are you two dating? did you guys hook up? etc. Would appreciate more opinions from vets!
