Sarged a much younger girl yesterday and ended up spending a couple hours hanging out together. She gave me her phone number and saved it in front of me when I texted her mine.

Sidenote: I tried to set up a day 2 and she put out a meeting in 2 weeks . I'm assuming this is a distancing tactic to buy her time to decide what she thinks.

Last night I texted her a simple text: "<Name>, it was great spending the day with you ... " .
To which she near immediately responded "Yeah, that was nice. Thanks "

I was not able to respond for over 20 minutes and then texted a rapport building text ... "I got home and realized I had only had that apple and coffee to eat all day!". No response since.

QUESTIONS:
a) Do you think I blew the rapport because of the long wait for reply?
b) Should I reinitiate text tonight or is it better to call?
c) Should I wait another day?


Helpful replies only as I dont have the desire/patience/time to play gunslinger with my internet peers.

• Typically text the next day. Missing you and wondering about you better than receiving a boring text from you. "Hey it's GayJay, miss me yet?"
• Don't converse over text; only use it to remind her of you, to bust on her in a funny way, or to schedule a meet. "Where are you taking me this weekend?"
• Sounds like your date didn't go as well as it could; focus on that. I posted a typical date template within my last 50 posts if you need a step-by-step. With practice, first kiss should be no more than an hour into it. You value your time, right?
• Oh and immediately stop texting they way you text right now. it's an arrow to the knee

a.) the longer you make her wait for your reply, the better. I typically mirror the amount of time it took her to reply to me.
b.) text her tomorrow or the day after "stop thinking about me and pay attention in class!", followed by "i'll call you later" or "hang out with me tomorrow by so-and-so"

Thanks for advice ChimeranPunda. I've been out of the culture so long that it's hard for me to imagine kissing a random girl I've met after an hour. I suppose it's all about how well you handle the meet.
