Hey dudes, I've had this profile for less than a week now, and have been getting a pretty shitty response rate, maybe 15%. My messages are pretty good (IMO), a joke or a funny observation about their profile, followed by something we have in common. 3-4 sentences tops, usually 2.

Was wondering if someone could take a look and see what's going on. I cut down my profile a few days ago, to remove some of the wishy washy crap. But there isn't much there anymore. And take a look at my pics, I have one self taken, and 3 more social pictures.

Damn you're tall. You could be killing it with better pics and a makeover. Profile doesn't matter without perfect pics; I don't know if you hit the gym but something with nice clothes and a good hairstyle will do the trick. Can you get a pic with a hot girl (double-edged sword but i think worth it).

The reason you're not getting responses is because you're not hitting the "this guy is hot" button. The girls online get a big head thinking they're hotter than they really are based on the number of messages they're getting from some loser dudes saying how pretty they are.

Thanks for the input, and yeah I'm tall, but not awkward tall so it works. Hairstyle might be an issue, it's thinning so I keep it short. But I will see what I can do. I can pull out some better clothes at least, snap a few quick pictures at work when I look cleaner. I have a couple female friends I can ask about pictures, or try to find some older ones that are actually flattering.

I'll be the first to admit, the camera hates me, and I hate it because of that. But thanks again!

I wouldn't snap a few pics at work....that sounds horrible. Spend over $40 on a nice haircut, hire a professional photographer and take a few different looks in your nicest clothes. You'll attract a much higher caliber girl. The problem is when she meets you, you have to maintain your appearance.

Stop wearing hoodies and beanies if you want to attract a hot stylish girl. Up your style game and many more girls will be attracted.

Yeah, that's the thing I'm worried about. If I overdo my look online, it becomes a hassle to keep that up. Like I said above, I'm not sure what I can do with my hair, it's thinning on the crown, and temples have receded. I keep it under an inch, and maybe go with a little messy spike/bed head look if I'm going out. You know, being confident in what you have and not trying to hide it.

And to be honest, I'm not into the super stylish girls. I like the country, rocker, or nerdy types. Not saying I would turn down a fun night in bed with one, but I feel it's easier for me to be natural around the types I listed. If I can be natural, I'm much smoother and have a better success rate.

And glasses or no glasses, I love my beard, but I wonder if that's a bad thing. I barely look old enough to drink without it.

You can't do online dating if you don't Photoshop the shit out of your pics. Pay a pro on eLance. It's cold in Russia so they're probably at home and you can pay them in Rubles.

I would let a super hot, hair stylist work on your hair. They will know what to do. Also, if you are dressed super stylish, it will be like shooting fish in a barrel to pick up any alternative type chick. The bottom line is if you dress the best you can at all times, you'll feel better, your confidence will soar and you will be better with women. What is your fear about keeping it up? You deserve to look your best every day.
