Any texting tips to keep the "flare" alive for a week before our first date? Can't really see her for another week so we aren't going out till then, and we have been texting less and less. I mean, I can't just not talk to her for the entire week, so any tips on what and how often I should be texting her during the week?

I am a freshman in college, she is a senior in high school. She texted me first he the first 2 days in the mourning, and we texted on and off all day. Since then, things I have sorta died down only texted her for like 10minutes yesterday. Trying to keep the flare alive for another week.

This is basic economics, As supply goes up, demand decreases (i.e. the more you text her, the less she cares). The inverse is true as well. Of course, you have to maintain some contact, but don't overwhelm her or feel obligated. If you make it a regular thing, she'll take it for granted and start to look at you like a needy sucker.

If you can't figure out what to text her, maybe you need to start working on having more hobbies and interests that you make a more interesting person with ideas and experiences to share. Or maybe just text her "can't wait to fuck this weekend! you ready? "
