scenario: I am at coffee shop, there is also this girl that always comes here. I have had a crush on her forever.
So today I finally grew some balls and approached her. But my initial approach was very weak, I quickly got the bitch butterflies and said "nice to meet you". The only thing I found out about her is 1. she is an "event planner" (whatever that means) 2. her country of origin

so at this very moment she is sitting there, minding her own business, I am sitting here minding my own business.

How can I give it another try without looking lame?

Edit: she is gone. So I guess now the question is: next time, how can I approach her without looking lame?

Ask her about the country she's from. Ask her about the differences between wherever you are and wherever she's from. Ask her how she like's the men from the country you guys are in right now.

but she will think I ran out of things to say the first time, so I took a break, spent some time scripting what to talk about, and came back to her with more materials. which makes me look lame.
