I told her (didn't ask) that we should grab icecream @ 8pm Saturday. She didn't text back so I figured it was a complete bust. I deleted her # and moved on but today she texted me back saying where at. followed by a text saying she doesn't know if she can or not. I haven't messaged her back but is this some sort of shit test? If so how should I respond?

"I don't know if I can make it" means "I won't be making it".

It's worth occasional text pinging to see if her situation changes to where she is more interested, then go to secure a meet up. As the other poster said dont attempt to lock in a date with a wishy-washy prospect, it will work against you.
As a relevant aside when I'm running online game I always assume the reason for erratic behavior is other online penis currently in the picture, I've gotten laid more then a few times by just bidding my time and keeping my value up until her current interest dumps her (which is pretty frequent online) and then, by default, I move to the top of her interest list. I'm now at the top because I behaved well and didn't lose my value by freaking out, being demanding, over texting, being thirsty, or getting mad.
