Whats your take? Is she stepping forward (use of word "mistress" seems odd) or shifting frame?

You may have already realised this but just in case if not, I think she's making a joke about the use of the word 'foul' - she's pertaining to fowl, a class which ducks can come under. A pretty clever play on words in my opinion!

Your response was fine and if you can think of things to continue upping the innuendo try it, but pay attention to the responses and know when to pull back. Also set up a date to meet before the innuendo runs out, that way you have a reason to pop into when you are in person and you can gauge her reaction and lead it somewhere productive.
