So I've been talking to this girl online for a while and we seemed to have a connection and she was replying consistently but then her replies started to delay by days for seemingly no reason at all. I decided to use this line "OMG you’ve been kidnapped! Tell them I’ll pay the ransom!. P.S have they been feeding you properly? I’ll bring chocolate! Plain or dark?" to reignite the conversation again and make fun of her a bit for not responding.

We live about two hours apart and when I tried to organise a date about a week prior to all this she said she'd be near my area in a few weeks so that might be on the way for us to meet. Right after the kidnapping line (which she replied to) I decide to ask her when she said she'd be near my area in order to schedule something before the door shut completely. That was about 4 days ago and she hasn't responded since. Do you guys have any idea what I can do to get things moving again? This is so frustrating.

Keep it casual and interesting, time invested should be around 6 hours or less.

After you talked to her she feels comfortable to get to know you in real life.
Say that you like to spending time with her and she seems to be special, different from other girls and you might want to know her only to make sure that she doesn't try to be someone. She will comply to you.

Leave her alone for a few days/weeks and that make something up or take advantage from a situation to talk to her again.
