It's a great german rock band (krautrock).

I was listening it today at the gym, got at my mind..
I like Nickelback for that sake too.

What I find is if you are working you want something heavy but you do not want a fast pace, what will happen is you will try to keep up with the rhythm and tire yourself out quicker, robbing you of extra reps and further gain. ex: you can do 80 push ups fast but if you slow down your speed you cannot do as many and you feel it more. So put on some slow rap, Til I Collapse by Eminem is a perfect example, and find metal that has a good slow rhythm. Some songs by Megadeth are excellent. Remember slow and steady wins the race.

Metal is the only way to go, in my opinion. 8)
Bands like Mötorhead, Pantera, Fear Factory, Venom etc. will do the trick. So will everything else that's loud and catchy. :D

Something by The Qemists or Pendulum, "Lost Weekend" being my personal favorite. Also some Hardcore by the likes of Comeback Kid.

But I have to say... Kanye West's "Stronger" is the ultimate gym song man!

The only guy who has it right is cashsky...you need bass and fast beats. Do not listen to the pussy rock garbage that they are all suggesting.
Get the following disturbed songs: Rise, intoxication, awaken, voices, the game, stupify, another way to die, serpentine, prayer, indestructible, inside the fire, criminal, facade, down with the sickness, violence fetish, droppin plates, meaning of life, just stop, ten thousand fists, guarded and hell.
Get the
mortal kombat theme song,
blur song 2,
apollo 440 stop the rock
Darude sandstorm
Deadmau5, skrillex are great too. Wolfgang gartner is another great house artist.
Searh for hockey songs or pump up songs on youtube, they will come up.

Right cause Disturbed is soooooo brutal...

Listen to whatever like to get you in the mood. If I could make a small suggestion though, it would be specifically to listen to jams that make that gives goosebumps and makes the hair on your body stand. You want to be in a positive emotional state. Almost to the the point where your soul is on such a natural high that you're not even really concerned so much with the mechanics on sarging in the current moment. You just proceed to go out and have fun, with an iron will to improve, and a lusty desire for the pleasures of the flesh.

For me, this type of music is metal. (Thrash, Melodic Death, Melodic Metal Core, etc) But sometimes, jazz gets me in the mood too.

I just got an iPod and I need music to get me pumped up at the gym. The music I usually listen to don't motivate me to workout.

I realize there have been similliar threads before. Search works bad on this fourm plus they are so many pages back.
My suggestion for you is to find the music that makes you feel like you want to dance or just get up and move.
I think the best place to start is with music that has a lot of beat and tempo for example dance music I think in the states they call it EDM now or Electronic Dance Music. I admit a lot of the music will get you up and wanting to move.

here is a radio station just to check it out to see if you like the feel c89.9 from Seattle, WA

^^^ I must admit, even as a die-hard metalhead, EDM is fun to listen to every now and then when I'm working out. You might enjoy it, as some of the songs are pretty catchy. I myself usually opt for the ones that have the beats in the back with a man or woman singing over the track. It seems to add a bit of melodic diversity.

Funnily enough I've been playing the one mix for the last few months before every night out....

It's by a guy called Joel Corry...some might know him from his appearances on Geordie Shore.

I don't care about your thoughts on the show, but the mix this guy put out is very good...especially if you're a college student like me and this music is all you hear on nights out.

It's on YT...just type in joel corry 2013.

Also on his soundcloud where you can dl it for free.

Gets me going every night without fail...check it out.

Lol, yeah I thought he was trolling at first: "Don't listen to 'pussy rock', listen to angry teen metal Disturbed instead!"
