I just #closed this really cute Swedish chick yesterday and while texting today she asked me how old I was. I'm in my early 30s and she did seem like early 20s. I answered with I'll tell you when I see you and then no response. Let me give you some context:

her: a bit tired, been at the hospital with a friend since this morning
me: oh dear, i hope everything is all right. i'll be around X and Y later on, if you feel like a change of scenery from the hospital
her: thanks, its not too bad, i don't know how long i'll be here for though how old are u if i may ask?
me: I'll tell you when I see you, but don't worry you're not going to jail

Should I just wait it out or try to re-initiate like nothing happened?

I was thinking, I read about the I'll tell you when I see you answer in another thread of this forum but doesn't not telling her already make me come from a weaker frame? I may even be making it worse cuz she might be thinking he's probably even older than he looks, like 40 or something. Any advice?

I get asked this a lot probably because when you are between
29-34 you are at that bridge where young girls
Will ask and older women as well. Girls have an idea
Before asking this question... So why do they ask you?

It never matters- trust me- also you can always say to an older women
Guys in there 40s date 20 year olds all the time so it's ok for u to do the same.

That's probably your best option, but your response was the one I usually use and it's good. The problem with sidestepping, joking about, or excusing the age question is they are juts going to press you on it now that you gave them the chance.

basically the girl was using the age question to disqualify you, as others have said, if you have enough attraction the age issue either wont come up or it wont matter.
