About 3-4 years ago when I started really getting into the online game with PoF and OKC, I also used Facebook as a great tool to meet women. I would find a girl I'm friends with, look through her friends list, pick out a hot girl, and "poke" her. Then, I would look at the new girl's friends list and pick out another cute girl and send her a poke. By the end of the session I would have poked like 10-15ish girls. I usually got about half of them at least to poke me back, and I would start a conversation through messaging.

It would be something lame like, "Not going to lie, you look incredibly familiar. Do you go to <my college>?" Or "You poked me!" When they would ask me how I found them, I simply would say "You were in that list of "people you may know" on my newsfeed". I almost never got hostile responses (although there were some) and was able to F-close many women this way.

But it has really started to dry up over the past year or two. My pokes almost never get responded to now. I've taken to directly messaging instead of poking in some cases or just randomly adding them as a friend and then starting up a chat, but it's as if girls are wise to this now. Many of them even tell me off now and say they know exactly what I'm doing.

I tried migrating to Instagram but it's not the same either and I can't get anywhere. Some girl on my FB news feed yesterday made a status complaining that "thirsty" (aka horny) guys have now started sending her direct messages on Instagram and she was lamenting the fact that it used to be the only social media thing that she didn't get sarged on.

Has this become mainstream enough where girls are wise to it now?

i had read some facebook sarging success so i took it upon myself to give it a shot.. my profile is quite top notch but yea girls saw right through it and blew me off as fast as they could

what more , facebook hide your msg in the "other" category if you contact someone you have 0 friend in common with so the chance of em seeing it is next to nul since you can't see em from the facebook app and who actually take the time to browse to the "other" category when browsing facebook on the pc...

In my experience, FB was never any good for sarging because you couldn't find new targets without searching for everyone named Amanda, Ashley, A....
The only way you could do it, i gather, is friends of friends. There aren't a whole lot of really hot girls that I could find that way. How could it be any better than POF and oKC anyways?
