Hi Rakeal
I read your post
before I received my first book from Amazon.com, "Monsters and Magical Sticks" and although what you said was interesting at that point in time, I had doubts about its validity. After receiving my book and I am on chapter 9 now about 129 pages in, I now 100% agree with you and your post makes absolute total sense.
There is no such thing as Hypnosis? ...LOL a very powerful question about the perceptions of what people believe hypnosis looks like in order for it to be hypnosis.
It amazed me to discover that we are bombarded with hypnosis on a daily basis and it all comes from everyday normal language from everyday people, news outlets, marketing and much more. Even if a person has not been trained to understand hypnosis, their speech, may get lucky and setup incredible life changing patterns that send ripples of impact though the year's of one's life.
I am discovering that a good defense like you say is to stay away from highly charged negatives that can impact one's subconscious.
I find the author amusing when he suggestively writes in the book as he describes techniques he often uses or says ..."as a people-helper" as if installing an ethical code in your subconscious in the event you become a practitioner. I have no doubt that when I learn these skills I will help people along the way, but my first priority is to help me. Hypnosis/NLP will be a tool to enrich the learning process between a woman and myself in order to emotional connect thus establishing meaningful relationships.
It was interesting to note in the book that when a elementary grade school teacher teaches a student 2+2=4 or how to spell the word "cat" as in C-A-T, that the learning process is no different than a form of hypnosis by reinforcing the information. So it is when you interact with a woman to teach her that a relationship with you would be a very meaningful aspect of her life.
Thank you Rakeal for contributing to the thread and answering my question. I hope others find value in it as well.
