I will soon go back to my hometown for family reunion(with my parents and relatives). I'm almost 30, but I have yet had a girlfriend. In my hometown, men at this age have almost all married, if a man has not married or even doesn't have a girlfriend at my age, it implies that there is something wrong with him, or he is simply unable to find a girl. So when I am back in my hometown, a lot of people know me, they know whose son I am, they will often ask, "Have you married?" or "When do you marry?" or "Do you have a girlfriend?" Or "You already have a girlfriend, right?" ... These questions put a lot of pressure on me. I don't have a girlfriend and I don't want to lie. So when I am asked those questions in my hometown by people(Some are my relatives), how can I reply?

"I'm gay."

No seriously, don't bother so much about it. If there's one thing i've learned from PU it's that people will only think badly of something if you do. So stop caring so much and live your life without giving a damn what others think.

If I say "I'm gay", people may probably believe it and rumors will spread like a wildfire. Gay is not accepted in my hometown.

I don't bother too much about it, but I still want a good reply to it, I think how to reply to it reflects a man's social intelligence.

Just be aloof and don't think about "intellectual" answers. Just give off the impression it's not a big deal to you. You won't need to prove anything and people won't think anything of it or think badly of you.

Say your dating a few girls. You don't want to be tied down with a committed relationship
with a girlfriend. Your looking for a type of girl that has the same morals and commitment
about a relationship like you do.
