So there's this girl that I met at a party this summer who was awesome; she was really pretty, funny, cool, and smart. I started texting her for a bit, and went on a date with her. The date went well, but, for the life of me, I couldn't bring myself to make a move on her despite the opportunity being there. At the end of the date, when I was dropping her off at her house, I'm pretty sure she leaned in for a good-bye kiss but I just went for the hug. I was afraid to make a move, it was a real fuck-up, I acknowledge that.
Anyways, we texted a few times after that, but I was always the one initiating the conversation. Eventually, I got tired of doing this and I just decided that if she wasn't going to text me, then I would let her go. She never texted me, and I let her go. I have now come to see that this was a mistake, this girl was awesome. I want her back. Like I said, it has been a while since we talked so I feel like this will be an obstacle in getting her back in my life. Suggestions???

It will be an obstacle.... but ive hooked up with girls i haven't talked to in a while... sometimes they even text me out the blue.

I would just text her something simple like "hey stranger what you been up to?"

then see if you can pick up where you left are.
