Trying to build rapport with a girl.

Sent her a christmas message a few days ago, the standard funny text you send to your entire phone book. She replied something like "Thank you, bla bla bla, I don't care much about christmas anymore". I took the cue and asked her why. She said it's because it's only she and her mother, so it's always a depressing time of year. I said I can relate to that because I also come from a small family, etc.

Tomorrow, should I send something like "Marry Christmas *girl name*. You may have a small family but you do have people who care about you."

Would that be seen as a sweet move and allow me to take advantage of the situation, or would it be a wuss nice guy move?

Or would you play it entirely different?

I wouldn't do it sounds totaly wussy. Why would you care about a girl that you haven't kissed made out with etc. Coming from we haven't done shit as man and girl, I'd say it's absolutely wrong to say you care.

But don't take the pua kitten's advice too serious thought, I'm newb as fuck.

If so, why, if you don't really know her?

You're basically lying in the hopes that showing concern for her will attract her.

If you want to send a text, just be like, "Hey, *girl name*, figured I'd send you a text because you said you were lonely. Have a happy Christmas. Why don't we do X later on *dayname* this week?"

wuss! go for funny.

Wuss. ask yourself how does this build attraction? how does this show her that you're confident and funny?

I think the "nice" things should only be done when you're actually in a relationship with a woman.... like good morning texts etc. If you're not in a relationship with her... texts like yours or "good morning texts" sound needy and corny.

Don't send it.. what thefuck... If you really want to send something, "Merry Christmas". Thats it, maybe you could add a "have fun" but it wont matter .
