So I met this girl a few days prior to Halloween. She worked at a boutique and helped me pick out a jacket for my costume. I was flirting with her and she was flirting back so I got her number and said we should hang out some time. I give her a call a few days later and leave a voicemail. I call again two days later an leave another voicemail. I dont hear a call or text back so i think whatever, nothing this time.

But she texts me out of the blue this past Friday and explained why she didnt respond sooner (without me asking for an explanation). We exchange a few texts picking up flirting and then she abruptly stops. I try and initiate the texting on Saturday but hear nothing back and then again today but still nothing.

My Saturday text, "Hey Wonder Woman (her Halloween costume), what sort of trouble are you causing today?"

Today's initiating text, "Hey [her name], how's the start of the week treating you?"

Still nothing back. Give me a course of action from here please. I had forgotten about her until she text me and now she won't retun the text? What gives?

If she hollers back, set up a date with her asap. Do this with the next girl.

I think you have been pinging her too much. Let it breathe a bit.

If no response by Wed. or Thurs., maybe go in for 1 final text "I'm going to be at X tom. nite; come...'

I agree with the you've been pinging her too much, i'd let a week go by to be honest then setup a date for 3 - 4 days later.

If she doesn't respond you have your answer, if at any point she contacts you again and refuses to hang out, let her know and be a man about it "I think you're really attractive and this texting buddy thing isn't working out for me, if you change your mind and want to meet up let me know" and then don't contact her anymore.
