I think corny statuses like these hurt more than help. You'd be better off not posting statuses and make funny/witty comments instead. I post a lot of pictures of my hobbies and business (I have a cool job). I also post a lot humorous political statuses, like "So if the government is shut down, do I get to prorate my federal tax's?".

Or mine today is "Remember in the Nuremberg trials when the Nazi officers said they were just "following orders"? Crazy, Huh?"

I also have a good social life. Every weekend I'm tagged in at least one or two posts. There's usually some pictures of Tom Foolery being shared as well. I try not to share e-cards or Meme's unless I have a retort to add into the status.

I try to base my Facebook off my own life rather than just posting random useless crap.
