my parents are actually pretty cool. I've had parties before my dad might hang out for a bit have a beer or two visit with some ppl, and carry on all my friends like my parents and think they're cool. I'm not concerned about that. The thing that concerns me is the impression she may get if she finds out I'm living at home. So I'll avoid the subject, and if it does come up I'll just tell her the story.

Going back to the convo I thought I should at least acknowlege her agreeing to go out. She replied late so I didn't get back to her that night. Yesterday I was busy as hell and couldn't talk so today
Me: cool. How was your day anything wild or crazy happen??

I just tried to get a small banter convo going, but not be totally boring that's why I added the wild and crazy part. Maybe she reads it and gets a bit of a laugh.

One more thing I wanna run by you guys. Haven't heard back from her yet on the last txt I sent her. I'm not concerned about that, but say date time rolls around and she still hasn't replied Do I send a txt say 1/2hr before we're supposed to meet up and use the whole stuck at the office gonna be about 20min late routine just to get a reaction to see what's up?

If she doesn't reply then that 20min late text sounds solid. I wouldn't send anything until later in the day as u planned. The 'wild and crazy' text was good too.

It would have been a little more gentlemanly If I replied a littler faster, but that wasn't an option. So I'm just taking her slow reply as a shit test and I'll use that line if need be.

Hey guys just thought I'd post an update. I definitely fell into the overthinking trap. I hadn't heard from her all day for some reason that bothered me, but I got my head back about me did the 1/2hr late routine.

Here's an update she had to reschedule she's speaking at a conference in a city about 2hrs away, and her time got changed so she's leaving now. Legit reason I know the conference she's speaking at.

Her: her bit about conference and rescheduling.
Me: No worries have fun in such and such city!

I didn't wanna try and set something up right away, and look like I have nothing on the go except her. I didn't see the need for any routines games or anything because her reason is legit she wants to reschedule so I just brushed it off like no big deal. I'll see about setting something up with her next week. And see what happens.

What are you trying to accomplish is what you need to ask yourself. People don't get laid over text - ever. The closest people get laid over text are teenie boppers who sext eachother.

EVERYTHING comes down to the initial interaction what kind of relationship you have already established with her. the sole purpose of a girls number is for a day 2. If a day 2 is too difficult, keep her on tap but invest very little in it.

If you want to the day 2 by the way, its imperative that you prime her for it in the initial interaction and make actual plans before hand. That way you will know weather shes worth your time (if she lives 2 hours a way and if your lucky you might meet in 2 weeks you'll know to not put her on your priority list) and she'll know the full intent of you getting her phone number is just to see her again -not be penpals.

EDIT: jsut read your last post. You go this chick. Don't over think, over analyze or just. Just get pre-occupied in something else beside her otherwise it will drive you crazy and you will be extremely needy when you meet her. Either get heavily involved in whatever passion/work you do or mack other chicks. If you don't feel like sarging, just go on pof. That will definatly distract you.

Thanks mate. I definitely over thought the whole thing yesterday, but I got my head back about me. She lives about 15-20 min away she's working in a city about 2hrs away this weekend. I'm just gonna play it cool for the weekend and set something up next week. I'm confident it'll work out, because I'm 1000% confident in how iv played it so far. Only thing I should have done different is call her, but that's a bit of a sticking point for me I'm a bit aelf concious of my accent I had my jaw reconstructed it affected how I talk (kinda mono now) so I like ti meet the girl charm her then caLl her the next time.

She said she wants to reschedule so that's what I'm gonna try if it doesn't work then next.
