I met a girl a few months ago, have met her sporadically a few times since. Unless I am misinterpreting, she seems interested since she is enthusiastic about seeing me and kinos, etc. As I was dropping her off today I was about to kiss her but basically stopped halfway since I could tell she wasn't into it for some reason. She asks if I'm trying to kiss her goodnight and tells me to kiss her cheek as if she's offering a consolation prize. I handled it poorly, but my question is what she might have been thinking. I waited too long? Situation too awkward?
