Id like to know how you guys would interpret when a girl says you smell good after giving her a hug? Is there a difference between if girl you just met then says it or a girl you already know just as an acquaintance?

Take it as a compliment.
When a friend says it maby they are just taking notice and being nice.
When a date says it, use it as another mental note to what she may be attracted to.
When a SLUT says it! BANG her brains out (personal experience)

you are reading too much into it .. it's an IOI, but not a huge one.

Depends on the signals she's giving. She might be saying it in a friendly way. If she's giving signals and saying it, it's a green light for you.

Just assume its an IOI. Works for me :D

If your gut tells you its an IOI, then it usually is. But as a general rule I just assume attraction because I'm quite solipsistic, but it seems to get the job done.

I would not go by your gut unless you have experience with women. If the gut usually works, PUA forums would not exist. Why? Because just about every question involves someone thinking a girl is into him because she didn't tell him to fuck off.

You're stuck on what she's thinking of you, and on how you're coming across. You have just say fuck it and assume they are down. And if they're not? you should still just self amuse!
her: you smell good!
you: Yeah girl if i was gonna meet up with you i figure i'd shower at least you feel me
her: lol blah blah
you: rapport, kino, flirt, rapport, lead, take aways
...proceed until she gives you the go ahead or excuses her self.
