Hey guys so I'm pretty new to this stuff. My mid game needs a lot of work but I don't really have any AA so my opening has been pretty strong. Anyway I go to a University and oftentimes a cute girl will sit next to me. I sat next to this girl yesterday and used a game of hangman for a study break as an opener (this works great by the way). Anyway we chatted a bit but I couldn't get a good read on her interest level. I saw her again today at the library and challenged her to a rematch of hangman. I'm 90% sure she was blushing and she seemed to be enjoying the company. I don't know why but I didn't really follow up with too much small talk after the game, I just went back to my table and finished studying.

The question I wanted to ask is when I left the library, she could clearly see I was leaving but didn't make eye contact with me when I walked by her. In your experience is this an indicator of disinterest?

She probably didn't make eye contact because once the game was over you walked away instead of chatting her up. If you do a rematch of hangman, make sure to get her # next time.
