| Yea man, I am definitely going to try duckwalking eventually. Thank you for the tip Hellhound.
An update: I download all of the audio from OmHarmonics. It's $100+ meditation program that uses bin-aural beat audio technology. The best part is that the program comes with 15 minute session and 30 minute sessions, so it really helps me fit my schedule. I usually get 30 minutes of meditation in every day either way though.
I had an epiphany the other night while meditating. We hear things all the time through out our lives, but we have these mental filters that can block out quite a bit of useful information from time to time. It occurred to me, mid meditation, that I really should not be so much in my own head so often, and that I should enjoy my life much more often in a day to day fashion. We can only live in the present. We will only ever be able to live in the present. The past is gone and never coming back, and we will never see the future, because there really isnt any. Tomorrow turns into today quite literally in the blink of eye. (As soon as you wake up in bed)
I am going to continue my meditation practice with diligence. I am also going to try to not always use the audio meditation tracks as well. I very much enjoy them, but I think that I should try to meditate at least one time a day without them, so that I don't lose the hang of it naturally. I will combine the audio tracks with the traditional practice.
The traditional, "Om" seems to give me some trouble, as I often can't resist the urge to say other things following it after verbalizing it in my thoughts. "I" on the inhale, followed by "Am" on the exhale, seems like it would be more suitable for me. I am of course talking about employing this strategy when NOT using the audio programs.
When using the audios, I just inhale through my nose and imagine the red, and then exhale through my mouth and in-vision the black leaving my body to the sounds of the music. Focusing on my breathing. _________________ "Take your last chance. It's not the end..."
