| Okay so Friday night I hit a club in Shepherd's Bush in London which is on once a month and is reknowned for it's indie/chelsea/rich/fashionista scene. I know the organisers of the club and a few of the people there and there were a few celebs about too.
So, as you may or may not know I'm a magician and more often than not I use that to my advantage in social situations - it's an awesome way to open girls on their own or sets and also DHV's obviously.
So we (myself, one of my best friends (HB 9), a friend and his friend who i'd not met before this night) arrived at the club at about 10.30pm. Said hey to the organisers and got ourselves a drink at the bar, threw off our jackets at the cloakroom and headed outside for a cigarette. Outside was a massive balcony with tables and chairs all round. We all sat at a table which already had 2 girl friends at and they were sitting chatting, and my friend, we'll call him Nate, whipped out the ol' camera and started snapping. He then, not missing an opportunity, saw the girls looking over at us so took a couple of photos of them and then sat with them and I took a couple of photos of him with them. He then started to chat with one of the girls and the one who was left was actually the one I found most attractive, so me, never one to miss an opportunity said,
"Hey, I need to ask you a really important question. Have you ever had your mind read?"
"No"
"Do you wanna try it?"
"Yeah!"
So she came and sat next to me and I did a mind reading routine on her and dudes, from that moment onwards, all eyes were on me, non stop. So I did a couple more things with her (loads of kino) and then was like,
"Hey so you can come buy me a drink now"
"Umm, I don't have any money!"
"Bollocks, such a sexist response."
"I'm sorry, I actually don't" (Shows me her purse which is indeed, empty)
"Okay, well because I lost your ring (I still had her ring which I had made vanish) i'll buy you a drink"
So we're standing at the bar holding hands for ages. Some dude comes and talks to her whilst I'm ordering and I overheard her saying "I'm with my boyfriend" as she puts her hand on my back. Eventually got drinks, in hindsight shouldn't have spent so long waiting at the busy bar and probably should have just got on with what was to follow especially considering that I knew her friends wanted to go soon.
So we went sat down on a couch, and immediately she's on me and we're making out and then her friend comes over and drags her away. Her friend puts her number in my phone but in a hurry it's a digit short. Nate has her other friends' number so we'll see what happens from there. I still have the girl's ring...oh well!
About an hour later Nate sits down next to a HB 8 who is on her own and says something to her, short (45 second) conversation ensues, he ends up walking away. A minute later I sit down next to her and say,
"What did that guy say to you?"
"He just said hi really...why?"
"Oh, just that he's my friend and he reckons, haha, he reckons that he can chat up girls just by starting normal, boring random conversations with them."
She looks at me as if to say, but that's what you're doing!
"Now, I know it looks like that's what I'm doing, but i'm not, I wanna show you something amazing" (Went into same routine as above, her friend (HB 9) gets interested, outside I end up making out with her and number close.
Later on Nate beckons me over to him and a HB 10 he's been talking with and goes, "This is my friend Wilde, he's an amazing magician, show her something dude"
"No way man, i'm not a performing monkey."
Girl: "Haha, I love him! He says he's not a performing monkey but I bet he'll end up showing me something."
"I actually won't. There's gotta be something in it for me"
"I'll buy you a drink."
"Girl, every girl every single day offers to buy me a drink, I don't need drinks, you need to be different."
She then leans into me and starts making out with me. Nate walks off and cannot believe it, the girl he tried to impress using me has now turned to me. It felt good. Number close, and no magic shown!
