Waiting in line for my espresso. In walks this fine blonde - orders. We are both sitting there waiting for our drinks. Perfect opportunity to strike up conversation... but had no idea what to open with. I feel my game is pretty solid once I get past that initial opener. That's really where I'm stuck. So question is... anyone got any advice for an opener in a situation like that?

your opener doesn't have to be something witty or brilliant. how about something situational? "I noticed you are wearing a Harvard sweater, did you go there?"

yeah good point. no i didn't take that approach. i had a good minute window there... next time!

In situations where you got no opener that pops in your head, why don't you just gaze her like if she has something creepy going on, that weird look that will make her open you with a "What?". Even though that, you should have some openers memorized, for situations like these, next time, don't fail!

Can be anything situational, don't rely on canned openers and you may find yourself opening more sets. "What did YOU order?" "I've never had that 1 is it your fave". Etc.

Discipline weighs ounces, regret weighs tons. We can see unbelievable results by getting out of the hesitation frame more often.

Why even bother asking her what did she order or even staring at her like a creep?
You don't need validation to talk to her, you do whatever you want to do and show your full intentions at all times.

Wow seriously, this PUA stuff over-complicates things sometimes. Just say Hi with a good looking smile and she'll respond with a good attitude. From there, you can open her up with ANYTHNG, and I literally mean anything. For example, ask her if she tried this type of coffee and tell her how delicious it is, and she'll be making comments about her favorite cup and from there you slowly start building up with her and changing subjects.

Trust me, girls KNOW when you are picking them up, and it's too damn sad to do these canned openers because they notice them even if you make it look professional.
