Met this girl on a night out with a bunch of new people. (New in town kind of thing).
We got along well but nothing 'special'.
The same night she added me on facebook - but the others did, too.
The next night I sent her a facebook message:

"ran into the criminal? (some topic I picked up from the night before)"

Her:
"Thank goodness no! ... But I only drove on sidewalks (you don't have to get this)"

Me:
"Maybe a little weird with a car.... "

Her:
"Well, thats really not that funny now!"
"Are you still in ***** or have you gone back home?"
(I commute but recently decided to move into the city. Staying in a hotel now)

Me:
"Nope, right now I'm in my hotel room"
"Tomorrow night I'll be crashing at a friends"

Her:
"True - you mentioned that"
"Have you been up to anything exciting tonight?"

Me:
"Of course! Went out with these beautiful two young ladies to this Irish Pub near *****"
"What about you?"

Her:
"We cooked and drank some wine with my roommates"
"Is the pub any good?"

Me:
"Yes its really good! Have only been there three times but I like it - they have pool tables which I enjoy playing"

Her:
"yeah... if you can"
"I'm sorry but I have to to sleep now - only got six hours left"

Me:
"Alright, have a good night"

Her:
"Hope I'll see you around!"

Me:
"sure"

Her:
"Good night. You should find an apartment here!"
"haha"

I left it at that - I didn't want to be the one sending the last message.
I know - not thaaat exciting but I'm new to online gaming - how did I do?

I think you did great actually, for my experience, girls who invest in the online interactions constantly are the ones who are attracted or are intrigued about you. Wait for some days, if she reinitiates the convo, she's obviously attracted to you, any excuse it would be.

So, it's been only two days in between and I haven't contacted her again. But one of the guys I met that night we all met for the first time I hung out again last night while he was trying to convince her to come hang out over facebook mobile. I stayed completely out of it as this would have made me look clingy like him. But I think she knew I was there, too.

Tonight there's is a public afterwork party that I'm going to with colleagues. You guy's think it's safe to trop her a short line on facebook to invite her or should I wait until I see her again naturally?

If you tell a girl that you were hanging out with two girls at an excellent pub and are now alone in your hotel room, you will look like you either

a) are some kind of sex maniac
b) just got rejected by two girls

You need to adopt the frame that you are the prize.

I'd say it's completely ok to ask her to that event.
