I find it incredibly ridiculous how easy it is to make people think you have magic abilities, or can read their minds, just by tricking them with a few steps. My grandma sent me this link in an email, exclaiming about how amazing it is and how she couldn't figure out how this program can always magically guess what the number you picked was.

I sat down and did the thing about 4 times and figured out exactly how it works. Take a look and I'll post how it works tomorrow if no one gets it. Once you know how it works, you realise how incredibly easy it is to run routines like this that are mearly a matter of tripping someone up with a bunch of seemingly random steps.

haha, you pick the color, and that narrows it down to 5 possibilities

then you pick the house. which has 6 possibilities

then it checks to see which number is the only one in the house with the same color.

and then whatever door you click on first is that number, the other 2 are randomly placed after open the first

there's only one possibiliity
