I've had this confirmed once on POF, with a stunning older woman I befriended and still occasionally message, who said she totally hated the site and went to join another one that's pay based. I couldn't get her to meet up in person, till she was on the news, in a story they did about older people using online dating. I texted her to say I saw it and we met for a drink. She texted a few hours later to say she was interested, but then she flaked again.
It's women aged 40 and over, who externally fit the bill of being a 'cougar', in that they're hot (and know they are), they're at least an 8, they look after themselves, exercise and take pride in their appearance, but even though they know younger guys are interested in them and want to bang them, they're not at all interested in them and in dating them.
Depending on their age, they're looking for a LTR with a guy who's at least 40, or 45, but have ridiculously high standards with who they're seeking, so they end up finding online to be disappointing and speak about it when you meet them, as in they talk about deleting their profile.
Sometimes they put photos up, but other times, they intentionally put nothing up and will only send a photo by Email, as was the case with the woman below.
I recently met this stunning divorced Indian woman for a drink. She's 50, but looks 35, regularly exercises, plus mentioned having a 27 year old daughter. I'd rate her an 8.5, while some may rate her a 9 and she probably is.
She looks way younger for her age and didn't make any secret of being super picky and fussy and likes a guy who's fit, regularly exercises, dresses well and looks after himself, which isn't most guy aged 40 and over, most of whom let themselves go. For me who's 2 years younger, that isn't a problem, as I am fit and regularly go to the gym 4 or 5 times a week.
I could quickly tell it wasn't going to go far, as she said early on she wished me the best. I didn't want to be rude and walk off as most dudes would, as I was curious, but she gave the vibe she's after a guy who's got his shit totally together, as in he owns a house, has a professional job and income (or if he isn't a professional, makes as much as one does, or more), he's done a lot of overseas travelling, as she's into travel and wants something serious.
None of this is me, as my situation is a little weird and I don't apologise for it, as I'm doing the best to be the best person that I can, but it's too lengthy to go into here, but I greatly doubt if any guy will meet her ridiculous standards, as she said I was only the 2nd guy she had met from online.
I didn't say to this woman, to lower her standards and be willing to date guys who aren't in shape, as she shouldn't, or that I wished her the best of luck, as she'll need it, if she's after the perfect guy.
