Just had a quick search and found that no one has really made a post on Meditation
I believe Meditation is very effective for PUA, it calms the body and weradicates stress, leaving you more concentrated and more at peace with yourself.
I have meditated for years and I can confidently state that it is great for the mind. When coping with the pressures of University meditation can provide greater focus and confidence is one's ability; this can bleed over into PUA as meditation will allow you to calmly think over and assess yourself providing greater cofidence in your abilities.
I'm not a professional but for people interested I thought I would provide a quick guide to a beginners form of meditation:
Step 1: Make sure you are in a quiet place where you won't be disturbed for a while; take time to relax, maybe listen to some relaxing music for a little bit beforehand just to get you comfortable.
Step 2: Assume a variant of the lotus position, be it quater, half or full lotus dpending on your flexibility. Placing a pillow underneath you so that you are just sat on the edge of it can provide easier access into attaining these positions.
Step 3: Optional: I play some music to relax myself in the background while I'm meditating- A good album to listen to would be:

*disclaimer: I'm not advertising this, just indicating this is a good cd to listen to, choose whichever suits you
Step 4: Relax and focus on your breathing, taking time to slow it down and breathe in strongly, if your mind wanders onto needless things just refocus and bring your mind back to focus on your breathing. I like to focus on some problems in my day while breathing, the state of calmness allows me to find a solution I otherwise may not have found. Maintain this for as long as you wish, I range for 10-30 mins depending on the situation.
If you begin to incorporate this into your lifestyle, the health benefits will be increased as you will suffer a lot less from stress and your mind/emotions will be more controlled.
Any further comments on meditation would be greatly welcomed
