I found those texts are a bit cheesy. Try something like: " Fascinating, something just reminded me of you" and take it from there. Make sure you use texts to set up logistics. Otherwise it's just a waste of time.

He is right. I have used the "I hope your smiling... If not, think of me." since I was in high school. Well not exactly like that.
