my girlfriend is a pretty self reliant person but i wanted to hang out tonight and i didn't hear from her so i told her i was disappointed i didn't hear from her but to have a good night.. she replies "i need some time to myself good night" i don't think she wants to break up as last night she was all lovey and what not. She is just really stress with her daughter and work. What would be something nice to respond or should i just let it go until she wants to talk to me again.

What should i do to fix this? Any thought suggestions?

People need time for themselves alone. Common sense. She told you straight up and honestly, instead of just coming up with bullshit reasons. This is a good sign.

You can use the opportunity to hang out with your friends for example.

her last relationship the guy cheated and left her and her kid high and dry so i think she is afraid of that happening again? Any thoughts?

Give her space, trust me. If you chase and let your AFC take over then you will more likely lose her.

It's hard, because situations like this have set off my inner AFC before, but she needs time to herself, so give it to her.

Hmmm...this is a weird one for some reason. Have you been clingy? Asking for space means one of 2 things. Another guy is on her mind or you've been clingy. Actually you could not have been clingy but the relationship could be stressing her for some reason.ask yourself honestly if things are good. If you can see a justification for this that's related to your relationship ...then give her some space. If its coming out of nowhere could be another guy

She blew you off.

NEXT her for three days and ping her at that point.

In layman's terms....ignore her for three days. Fight your inner AFC and don't respond to anything.

Take the attention away and she'll think twice about blowing you off like that again.

The poster above me is right--this is a bad sign.

It all depends on the context of your relationships. Don't stress to much about this, just follow your goals and passions. Eventually she will call you back.

Thanks guys... I have been a little clingy lately and way to available to her and she is stressing because of work, a house she just bought. her child etc.

a friend of hers told me that she said i do everything right and im wonderful but i do one thing that sets her off... Then she said it probably isn't him just me being stressed out...

she hasn't contacted me yet and i haven't done anything since she said that So whether she responds to me or not i shouldn't msg her until about friday and then just pick it up like nothing happened or what should i do...
