Has anyone ever done this? If so how did it go? I want to start doing it, but I'm afraid of being publicly rejected.

How old are you, I do a lot of sarging when I am on campus (I live next to like 5) so every day I pick a new one, don't worry about rejection they will forget you quickly. Just make sure there not in your classes

In the community college I go to, most of the girls I want are taken already. It also doesn't help that their high school friends are usually with them and they seem to be living in their own world hanging around their same HS clique not showing much interest in making new friends.

So overall.... it's been pretty difficult for me to ask out girls that i've met in community college. The few that I met that are single though.... they're too busy to go on a date because of work and preferring to focus on their courses
