Slightly pissed off about my 0% response rate on POF with 10 girls some being 'decent'. I've tried tweaking my whole profile, pictures and openers but no luck.

first of all, STOP giving a fuck; stop caring about the outcome, and just have fun with it. I'd say that 25% of women on POF have no intention of meeting anyone (it's ego masturbation for them) or they're fake profiles, 50% get inundated with e-mails, and never even see your message (if they're even remotely cute), 10% are just like us and want someone who is "hot," and 15% get the same messages day after day and you're boring them. Below is an example of what I've been using:

"I'm not interesting is swapping 143 e-mails back and forth, being your text buddy, and nor do I rely on *insert name of site here* to get laid. *insert banter*...".

I get a pretty decent response rate, and I don't think I'm the best looking guy around my area (South NJ); They seem to like the direct approach, and the fact they a guy is so blunt. Some women turn out to be horrible conversationalist, but all you need is a response to start things.

The moment I stopped taking on-line dating "seriously" and just started to have fun, was the moment things improved.

10 girls is not a lot.
If you were talking 100 girls, then that would be different

As someone above said, don't take it too seriously, but open a lot. Like A LOT. Online is a numbers game even more than in field.
If you send 100 openers and come back empty handed then it's time to seek help.
With that said, feel free to post your profile/openers/... and I am sure somebody will help you. I have gone through a dry spell with online, posted here, and got good advice on how to move forward.

Also know that with this kind of game, it's easy to go from "OMG I have a date every night" to "OMG I don't have one date all week" quickly. When the latter happens, don't freak out. Either use the free time to go on Day2s, or anticipate the trend by a few days, and start opening fresh chicks.
