Anyways, just started hanging out with a new group of people and me and one of the girls in the group seem to hit it off. We all went out the other night and her and I talked the majority of the night and it was clear her friends were doing the whole she likes him as mine were with the you like her. Started texting her, but I do not know how to approach moving onto the next step of our relationship. Do I still hang out in a group setting to develop what has already started or try and isolate by asking her out just the two of us. Dont want to rush into anything and fuck up or have her think I'm a clingon. Advice?

You can throw out some innuendo through text to gauge interest also, and see if there's enough comfort there. If she flirts back, proceed.
When you have enough of it, isolate and escalate...
Booze helps, too.
