Is there ANYONE who can get rid of Digital_spy??

I think I've read at least a dozen posts from Digital Spy, every one was negative. You would think a lonely woman (I'm guessing) would have something to add to the conversation. I have nothing against lonely women, just the negative ones.


I don't like when I get asked the age question either. I'm 49, was married from age 22 to 46 and not really into many women over 40. Luckily with good genetics, daily workouts, a little hair dye and making use of a tweezers most guess my age at about 33 to 35. I'll sometimes let them guess and then change the subject. It's nice when your both on vacation and it doesn't come up or when it does I reply with something like "we're on vacation, age doesn't matter". F-closed a couple of HB-9's in New Orleans this summer a 25 year old that never asked my age, I asked her age walking her back to her hotel just before I left town. And one about 25 to 30 that agreed that age didn't matter, she guessed mine at 35 then 40 when her friend reminded her that I had an 18 year old daughter. OP that's creepy going after teenagers, lol, just stay away from mine.

I'm interested too in how some of you answer the age question, especially with younger women.

Might I offer a few examples;

If a woman asks you that question, you might respond with, "Old enough." Said without looking morbidly serious.

Or you could make a guessing game out it for fun. "How old do I look?" As she guesses, you just toy with her playfully. "36?! Oh wow, you lose a few points for that one..." Or, "Wow, 24? You must be a real cougar. I've never had one before..."

^^^ The point is to keep it playfully and get her laughing a bit. At the end if she can't she to guess it right, you can either tell her the truth, or just say something even more outrageous like, "Fine. I'll come clean. *Lure her in closer with your index finger, and jokingly look from left to right to make sure no ones looking.* Then you tell her your little secret. "I'm actually 13."

Again, the point is to just get her to laugh and not take things as seriously. As soon as she sees that this is the type of guy you are in these sorts of social environments, she'll be more likely to let her guard down, because she now feels like she can follow and mirror you, without feeling like she isnt properly calibrated.

As for the age number, it doesnt have to be 13. You could make it as ridiculous as you want. The more ridiculous, the faster she'll know that you're just fucking with her. Either way, it should provide you with some good fun.

the age thing is something im very insecure about. im 29 and all i seem to get these days are girls between 19-24 gap. how do you get over this?

When I am your age, I am almost certain for sure that I will feel a lot like you do right now. Social conditioning has been ingrained into our minds since the time we were young children just growing up, so dont feel strange that you feel slightly strange.

I mean, think about it... Do you think that our ancestors gave a shit about age??? As long as they saw a female that looked good, that was enough.

So for you, I would just always assume that the girl is old enough. If you find out she isnt of age, (which I'm guessing wont happen often) then you just eject yourself from further interactions with her.

You're fulfilling your biological purpose by hooking up with these younger girls. What's bothering you so much about this? Just the awkward feeling, or something else more specific???

Death Shredder and Pump have the right idea but let me give you a different spin based on mostly dating girls much younger then me.

You can start by playing the fun guessing game, or any other funny, cocky, clever responses which avoid the question but realize they normally wont work, a girl will just keep pressing until she gets an answer (if you haven't built enough attraction) so I have largely given up trying to be funny/clever with answering the age question. Of course you are best off when you built solid attraction, than they dont even ask before sex

Here is my standard response "Ill tell you when I see you" If they press me I still dont answer. Most times they will just say "ok " and take it as a shit test passed. She likely already knows you are significantly older than her and the exact amount wont affect her opinion at this point.

Now here is why I believe this is the best response de facto. If you just tell her your age straight away than she has a legitimate reason to immediately disqualify you, as someone already said, as you haven't likely built enough attraction and you have provided her a rational to ignore you, and chicks love to rationalize. If you dont answer the question and she ignores you, guess what? She was going to blow you off anyway as soon as you told her your age, so you haven't lost anything by being firm. The reason I like my answer better then the guessing game, or cocky-funny responses, is that it comes off as higher value, and it doesnt look like you are trying to avoid the question.

The best situation is you have enough compliance so she doesn't even ask you that question till later.

I think far too often we forget that if a woman is attracted to you, she most often will not even pester you regarding your age, as Detox stated above. This is very important to remember, and yet another reason to leave that awesome first impression about meeting a woman.

If we are talking strictly text messaging, then I think I would use Detox's method, (and I plan on doing so in the future!!! haha thanks man)

However, in person, I think I would throw some cocky funny into the mix and play the little guessing game. Or if she asks how old I am in person, I might say, "Old enough to handle you I'm sure."

Ya see, in person, there is much more room for this kind of stuff. Because as I've said before, there is your voice tone, your body language, energy, and just an overall more realistic feeling of communication between two human beings.

Through text though, I say Detox has the right idea. When texting, because all you have are your words, you have to remain as alpha/dominant/high status as possible, and there isnt as much room for fuck-ups. Even small ones, unfortunately.

its real hard to explain man. ive had a lot of failures with these 19-ish year olds too. i've put pressure on myself to settle down and i think this is really fucking my shit up and it will show. i go out and make all sorts of excuses in my mind not to approach, even fuck girls that are on my bed given this age issue. i know. its fucked. most of it has to do with the way i look i think. people usually mistake me for a 23 year old which is fine but im starting to show signs of aging and this just makes me feel that im not good enough for these girls

I kind of had a similar situation about a year back. I would chat up these girls and get them to tell me that they were thinking about coming over to "chill". As soon as I heard this, I would freak the fuck out inside, and I didnt know why it was happening. I had confidence issues.
