I met this girl at a bar. She was with her friends, we talked for a little while, and I got her number.

We've been texting back and forth a little bit, not much though. My grandparents have seasons tickets for a local team. They are out of town so they gave me their tickets for the month.

I told her this and said she should come with me to a game. She said she couldn't this past Friday because she was visiting her cousin in another city, but this Friday might work.

So I followed up today and she said, "OK but if I go with you it's just for fun! It's not like a date or anything... deal? :P"

How do I respond to that?

I was thinking of something like this: "Thank god, I didn't want to have to show up with a bunch of red roses :P" OR "Haha obviously it's not a date, I'm not that easy." Let me know which one you like or if I should use something entirely different. Thanks.

"A date? Wouldn't dream of it. Pick you up at 8?"
