Why I think exercise will improve your game.

I know that this is pretty self-explanatory but for all you lazy, fatsos out there that are mad at the world, I think you need to hear this. I'm not trying to put anyone down I am just spitting out the brutal truth.

A healthy appearance is a big advantage when it comes to meeting women. Not only does it make you appear more desirable but it shows women that you have a stable sense of self worth. Women like men who value themselves.

Exercise also has endless amounts of benefits that will put you ahead of the competition. Among some of these benefits is being able to think more clearly. You will be able to react to certain situations more intelligently because your blood is circulating throughout your body more efficiently. Therefore your brain is getting more oxygen giving you more energy along with improving your state of mind.

Exercise will leave you feeling more relaxed and overall more comfortable around people. You sweat out toxins that build due to the preservatives used in the food we eat. If you don't exercise then these toxins build and leave you feeling like shit which in return can make you depressed. Nobody wants to be around someone who is depressed.

The last thing I want to mention is that having a fit body will give you confidence. Women will be grabbing on your shoulders, arms and chest. Your jaw line will be more pronounced the more you lower your body fat. Yes, even your nose will become sharper.

Keep all this in mind. I know a lot of gurus will tell you that looks don't matter. I agree to an extent but if you are a young guy who is eager to get laid. Maybe you like the idea of women throwing themselves at you here and there or calling you sexy, I do. So get a gym membership and start training.

I suggest swimming laps for cardio and youtubing some good p90x routines. If you are a weight guy then you can always find some great work outs in muscle and fitness, flex mag and other resources. Don't forget to stretch.

Hope I was able to inspire some of you and once again, thanks for reading. Good luck to you all.

I agree completely. You don't have to be stacked with muscles like The Rock... (even though the average man that doesn't know anything believes that).... but just by the fact that you care for yourself will make you more attractive towards women.

Yep, glad you agree. Seems like the whole reddit community didn't when I brought up a topic like this.

Actually, heavy lifting increases the amount of testosterone that your body naturally produces. The higher your test levels, the more masculine you actually are when you are interacting with women. So while you don't necessarily have to look like Dwayne Johnson, heavy lifting will actually benefit you in more ways than just your appearance.

Also, when you get into weight lifting (vs. pussy cardio training) you set goals for yourself that are actually attainable. Being able to lift more one week than you did the week before will give any man a great sense of accomplishment.

If you want to look good with your shirt off, heavy lifting is the only way to do it. Someone who just does a bunch of cardio will look like a "skinny fat guy."

Good to know. I will keep that in mind.

This. I cannot stand when people ask me for workout advice and I suggest heavy weights and they say, they don't want to get too big and then start saying they want to look like brad pitt in Troy. LOL!!

C'mon skills are you seriously buying p90x before and after pics? LOL. Those things are good to put on a little mass and to get cut. To put on real muscle efficiently nothing comes even close to lifting heavy.

You can lift 8-20 range, and get in amazing shape, the idea of lifting heavy is a myth. What matters most is the nutrition, tracking macros. 90% nutrition, 10% working out. You know who lift heavy Olympic lifter this is their typical look http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EjSMawMbwMs

Ok, if you are going to go to using infomercial videos to prove your point, there's nothing I can do. Lifting heavy is the key to mass building. This is not myth, it is well known FACT. There's a reason 99% of bodybuilders lift in the 3-12 rep range (and most only go near 12 after they are already huge), because it WORKS.

First, the dude in the video is my coach, that is his video of his 3 months results. Second, Dude, you sound like hellhound you do not have to lift heavy, i will post my own before and after transformation pics so far i lost 38-42 pounds (working on a video on how to achieve the idea clubbing body), you can lift from 8-12 reps when you get to the 8 or 12 that can hardly do(challenging the muscle) or 15 range, lifting heavy 2-4 reps etc... Also leads to injury...

I've done both weights and p90x like routines. For me gymnastics and break dancing gave my body the best over-all improvements. However, it started to get scary after seeing 6 people get injuries like severed Achilles, broken ankles and knee injuries all in a matter of 7 months. I am beginning to approach 30 so I decided the risk wasn't worth the reward.

For lifting weights a lot depends on your body type. If you've a naturally small and scrawny frame you're going to stay small and scrawny. You might be stronger but it's not going to show as much as a naturally heavy frame would. Hate to break it to you guys who have small frames but you're mostly shit out of luck so don't fool yourselves into thinking you'll be massively bulked up and looking like you're on steroids. You can get the six pack, etc. with cardio, proper training and proper diet and that's the only thing that will get you a six pack. If you want massive arms and legs and more pronounced shoulders you can do that, sure but you'll still be bulky if you don't do the cardio or you'll still be scrawny if you don't/can't bulk up.

I mean, it's not rocket science. Has anyone ever had a personal trainer? When has a personal trainer ever told someone to keep to weights and only weights? Never! They always insist on cardio, weights, proper diets and yoga or some other form of fitness routine. I'd listen to a professional trainer any day but hey, that's just me.

Swimming is probably the best way to keep fit. It exercises all of your muscles and is great for cardio. Do swimming(proper swinning!! Not lazing about the pool for an hour and doing one or two laps every five minutes!) and you'll notice immediate improvements in your physique.

Also, yeah, exercise can make you happier and that will have an effect on you but the whole body type thing is down to social expectations and social theory. We're attracted to what we as a group perceive to be attractive. At different times in history there's been different types of physique that have been highly sought after. Until recently the more attractive body was that of a chubby or slightly obese woman, it's just movies would have you believe otherwise. In Roman society being big was a sign of social value. If you were skinny it was unattractive, you were as worthy as a slave. Hell, even back to the 1950s, 60 years ago, women and men weren't skinny, they were somewhat chubby with a bit of meat on them. That was attractive back then! It's only recently that society is telling us that Skinny is Sexy. Even more recently we're being told that Ripped is Sexy!! Physical attractiveness(Fitness at least) is all down to what social standards dictate as being attractive and sexy yet the reality is people are just slaves to social perception. It's completely superficial. The real attraction is to the alpha and in appearances the alpha will appear as the socially chosen attractive guy. That's the first hook: Looking alpha. If you are alpha but don't look it in physique but are in every other aspect you're going to swoon a woman 9/10 if your game is tight.

To give a more recent account of attraction I will pose this question to you: Why is it that, as a group, female rockers tend to be more attracted to men with long hair as opposed to other groupings(trendy, jocks, geeks, nerds)? It's the perception of what is attractive to the group these women are part of that dictates what they find immediately attractive. On the flip side you will find trendy or jockish type women more attracted to neat cut men. It's all there and it's basically what PUA will teach you: You can be whatever as long as you're not below average looking once you can talk and act in an alpha and uncaring manner or being aloof but having your shit together.

Don't put so much importance on fitness unless it's for you and not just for women. Keep in mind fitness is a lifestyle, if you stop working out you'll lose all your hard earned gains in just a month or two. Yes, you won't get to that shape and keep it, you'll have to stay with it for the rest of your life or start from scratch. Best way to maintain a physique is to eat healthily and do light weights/cardio or just be an active person in general!!

Ya, I second the swimming for cardio. Doesn't bother your joints and you burn a shit ton of calories.
