So, until Monday I was going on dates from OkCupid and kiss-closing consistently. It was pretty much almost mechanical.

I have been on three dates these last three days with no close.
I have been rejected twice when going for the close, and on one date I haven't even tried.
The IOIs were consistently not there, even as I went for the close I knew I was gonna be blown out. And on this date where I didn't go for it, I just felt the girl was worth giving another shot at it on a second date, and I knew I would be blown out of I tried to kiss-close.

I could tell myself I have just picked the "wrong" chicks, or was tired, or the stars were not aligned, or something.
I don't see where my game differs from what was getting me constant kiss-closes. But short of blaming the universe for my failure to close anymore, something must be off. And of course the more I don't close, the higher the pressure on me to close the next time. And I am afraid it's going to "get at me" and make me very outcome dependent.

Has it ever happened to anyone to suddenly go from "great game" to "AFC" without any obvious reasons? And how do you fix it?
