Remember the goal is always to have sex with the girl, not get her phone number. A phone number can create a barrier between you both, where she calls the shots, she decides whether or not to reply, you put a lot of power in her hands.

Don't push for the number, work on your confidence instead, be physical, touch them a lot, hold long seductive eye contact. Then when she has relaxed you can move into seduction mode, escalate to more sexual touching, eye gazing, lip gazing etc and make out with her. Make a rule that you don't ask a girl for her number UNTIL you have made a sexual or at least emotional connection with her, ideally make out with her before you go for her number. This is to save you time and to sift out the time-wasters. I could go out and collect loads of phone numbers in a night but they wouldn't lead to sex unless I made a physical connection with the girl.
