Hello everyone,
I am fairly new to the game and am a senior in college. I am fairly good at day game, but must admit that I am terrible at picking up women at bars. I have read magic bullets and daytime dating by Jeremy Soul. I really want to step up my game to the next level, I really hope you guys can help me. I am a senior at University and am looking to make my last year a very successful one. I would appreciate any help I may get, I could use it.

I just started college recently too, yeah daygame is waaaay easier since the female b*tch-shield is down. I think to pick-up girls at bars easily we must first build up our 'social momentum' ever go out for a night in a bad mood then suddenly you meet your friends, have a laugh and all of a sudden you can talk to anyone and everyone? Thats social momentum, you should go out with this goal 'To have fun' instead of 'To get laid' it takes the pressure off and its harder to be too serious with yourself. At the start of a night out, i'd focus on talking to friends and people who work at the bar/club (Bouncers, cleaning staff, bartenders). Once you have the ball rolling by talking to people you're comfortable with its way easier to start talking to strangers or girls you're attracted to. Thats my view on successful night-game anyway but daygame is easier since society expects us all to be polite and curteous when a stranger talks to us (Girls dont want to come off as sl*ts or b*tches which is why they're usually nice) No harm in getting some good practice in college though, get to know everyone and talk to as many girls as you want, welcome to the forum dude

Thanks for the quick response Matty, I'll definitely try using your advice at the bars. You're absolutely right about the mind set of going out thinking of only having fun, nowadays in college it's every guy goes out to get laid.

Hmm, well the funny thing is I went to college to learn and have something to do but many opportunities to get laid are coming up and its also great to make a lot of like-minded friends. Yeah a lot of professional PUAs say that 'Go out to have fun and enjoy yourself, stop being so serious!' and I still see that at the club, these guys that want to get laid or even make friends are still stalling at the dance-floor watching others having fun and just moping around the club (Why do they go out on the weekends in the first place if they dont talk to people, if they wanted to drink they could pick another day) but it's that shyness society instills into us that causes them to refrain from loosening up. I think girls on a night out want a guy who's confident, cool and playful, they go out to have fun and that should be the reason why we go out too, not just to have fun with them in the clubs but hopefully have even more fun in the bedroom
