I am david.25 years old. I am from india. Just came to colombia a month ago to study in colombia. I am just learning spanish ( One barrier for communication with girls). I lived in mexico for 1 year. Basically i am an engineer.

I am learning pickup for almost 1 and half months.

My back ground is, i grew in a very conservative school, where girls and boys are not allowed to speak to each other. So when i entered college i can't able to speak freely with a girl.

i was in love with a girl when i was 19 until i was 23. I helped her a lot and made her laugh a lot but when i proposed she denied. She told she like me very much but not attracted to me. Further she picked a new boyfriend who she just met. My heart was broken.

Then when i was in mexico i dated a beautiful girl. We went out several times but i didn't kissed her because of fear. Then at last when we went out to a night club she kissed a guy in front of me, who she just met. Again my heart was broken.

Then i realized there was something wrong with me. Before i had the approach problem . But after reading pick up techniques now i can go to any beautiful girl and start a conversation.

The problem is even though they like me, i cannot able to attract them. Most of them give me their phone numbers but when i call them they avoid me.

I can easily put them in comfort zone but i cannot turn it into attraction zone. I the last 3 weeks i got almost 6 mobile numbers of random girls just by approaching them in public places,but 2 denied when i ask them to go out.2 never attend my calls. I went out with girl on a date , but she is denying for the 2 nd date. And i have a date in 2 days.

Another thing is i am good looking guy. I am tall , dark skinned , decent physique ( I work out ) with good hair and i wear glasses. I usually go out with my friend to attract girls. But even though when i start the conversation, the girls seemed to be interested in my friend. He is shorter and shaved his head but has a decent body. But i don't know why girls are attracted to him, even though i approached them.

My drawbacks :
One thing i do is i became nervous and less confident when i talking to the girls. I started valuing them too much and end up like needy.And also some time i don't know what to speak and eventually end up boring.

Help me to overcome my obstacles and succeed in my love life.

I'd recommend reading the threads and stickies on this forum, especially the ones aimed for newbies like I did. Then learn some openers, routines, negs etc, and go out and try some of them! Best way to learn is to jump in the deep end! Read what you can, research and then go out and field test!
