Well I broke up with my gf few weeks ago and immediately joined Match and OkCupid. I was pretty eager to set up my profile, posted some great almost professional pictures up and have a pretty short but catchy profile. My issue is not getting enough interest it's getting the right interest from hot girls. I met four girls online and two I saw in person. Both were a little bit of a disappointment because their pictures were obviously either older where th[*] were 30-40 lbs lighter or they photo shopped their pics so much that they almost looked like different people. Either way it irritates me since I feel like I waste a lot of time searching for quality. I live in Boise ID and run into this a lot. Do you guys share my frustrations or better in other places?

Sometimes it happens but I don't find that it happens often. Also, you may be suffering from online goggles... for some reason, many men I know who would salivate over a girl at a bar think she is a 5 when she messages them online.

I know MANY women who look fantastic in pictures but look about two points under in person.

The thing about profiles is you can take whatever picture you want, suck in your gut, get that perfect smile and perfect pose to make yourself look better. With women they can spend hours doing make-up, hair, nails and all sorts just to take one solid picture and look absolutely amazing yet in real life they don't look great at all.

I also know of people who seen good looking women online only to meet them and find they're well below what they were advertised as. As in chicks who would end up being the size of a bus or women who "go to the gym" but are just skinny and not toned at all and have the face of a fruit bat.

Who knows, maybe it's just on the freebie sites but whatever, I stay clear of Online Gaming.

Yeah Vic I found the same thing from online dating so far. There are very few girls that are actually 9-10s online. Or they may have been at one point before they put on the pounds and years.
