Tinder seems to be the latest fad with online dating. Essentially Tinder uses your facebook profile grab a few pictures, your interestes, common friends with girls, uses your phones coordinates to find girls in the area, than lets you like/dislike.

Profiles tend to be no more than a few sentences.

Has anybody come up with any strategy for using Tinder. Essentially if a girl is hot you have nothing to lose by not liking her. Essentially if a girl likes you and you like her, it pairs you up to allow you to chat. Has anybody come up with good tactics for opening and closing sets by using Tinder?

Yes, there is no reason to not click 'Yes' to every profile. So you should basically like everyone. Tinder is a bit tricky because it is so looks based. It is hard to write something great in a couple lines, but it is very doable; however, looks is the focus for those who are on tinder.

I tried it for a week or two, got one match who had misleading pictures (thin/pretty girl in every pic except the last one... finally realized the fat one was on the edges of all the other pictures.) Two other matches who were cam girls using bots.

So yeah, betting more women use it for validation than for hooking up. I'm curious if anyone's had any actual hookups using it though? Could just be my area sucks...

(1) Who gives a shit if you click on an unattractive woman? You can just delete them if they match.
(2) I know tons of people who have had tons of hookups with it, but they live in cities.

I have tindered for a few days. Not gotten a single number out of it.
Swiping yes to anything they throw at you and then opening any chick that likes you back is the only reasonable strategy.
If you end up with a fugly, just never #close her and move on.

I have closed 4 girls same day from Tinder. But I am also a fairly good looking male in the Marine Corps. I use it mostly for fun. Most of the time I purposely make myself seem dumb and it still works. Yes, I live in a big city though. My friends from the sticks aren't having similar success yet.

How quickly after engaging a girl do you go for the # close.

I actually f-closed a girl off Tinder Friday. Took her out for the first time before that but I was talking back and forth a few days before throwing her my number to hit me up if interested in hanging out.

Two girls since then one i went back and forth with all day long, finally went for a number close and nothing. Not sure if I got too aggressive.

Had to bump this one as I experience the same. Using it for a week now yet and it does a few things which are
usefull for PUA:

1 - it removes AA (obvious, as it is online, but even then you could have the doubt 'I have to write something catchy to get her attention')

2 - you don't have to get attraction, she IS attracted to you already.

Basicly if you start conversations with that knowledge you can just start qualifying. Maybe a neg if necessary but nothing compared to real life DHV routines. Just # closed another one within half an hour.

Have to admit though if looks aren't your best side and you can't fix yourself a couple of decent pics you'll have to lower your standards. A lot. Tinder girls are picky.
