Hey everyone,

This weekend myself and a buddy went out, our first weekend out since finding out about the community.

So we're out at the bar, and its quite dead. Our group gets there and finds our way to a booth. Sitting there talking having a drink as the bar begins to fill. After a while the 2 other guys leave to go for a walk around the bar. We had a couple groups of people approach us saying hey what's happening. I think this helped us as a hole as a DHV that we know people.

At one point we had two girls proximity us and sit at the other side of the booth from us. As I've always heard when it comes to seeing a girl or making eye contact you've got 3 seconds, literally the girls were there for 10 seconds before getting up and leaving. Neither myself or my buddy said a word to them. After when we debriefed on the way home, neither of us knew what to say or do.

His instant reaction would be to lean in to start the conversation, but that's an instance DLV and he didn't want to do that.

My problem was I didn't know if I should start with an opener or not, because at that point they'd already come in and kinda gave an IOI.

What do you guys think?

As a whole it was a great learning for both of us, and through the night I opened two sets, and felt my level of confidence grow where it never had before. I would say that one thing that I did differently for the entire night to demonstrate more confidence was right from when I walked in till the time I left, I had much better posture and stood and sat upright where before I would always slouch forward.

first of all i think your taking the 'game' to seriously

the point of going out is to have fun, so be in a fun mood and start a convo anyway, they already made an effort to come and sit at your booth....

by not talking, they probably either thought you weren't interested in them, or you were to shy/nervous to speak up which is a big DLV

hey man, im no pro or anything but please let me give you my humble opinion..

its all about learning, like literally you're gonna have to approach 40 groups before getting the slightest hang of it. maybe less, but you get the picture right? you always have to be thinking that she is no better than you. you're the dominant one here, and you're going there to prove it. and if she like rejects you/shuts you down, no worries, think its her loss, and LEARN. then do it again. and again. and again. until you don't get shut off. its like that.
