HI Guys,

I date a lot of girls, i'm 35 but my dates are usually 23-26... One extremely annoying habbit that these girls have in common, is that they are constantly clinged to their mobile phone.
Texting in the middle of dinner, or a great conversation drives me nuts enough to say 'i'll use the toilet, for a minute..' and then never come back at all.

Texting/FB'king during a date is a real turn off for me. I take it as the most obvious indicator of disinterest.

What do you guys think?

I use it as a topic of discussion and make them feel a bit awkward for doing it. I'll talk about how the cell phone has become the adult social pacifier. Once people get into an awkward social situation, they fear the "silence" or being alone so they reach to their cell phone. After that talk... They won't do it again. And if they do... I'll do this...

"lets play a little game. We both put our phones upside down in the middle of the table, stacked ontop of each other. The first one to reach out and grab their phone pays the other ones bill." Keep the patron margaritas and steak fajitas coming and I guarantee that her iphone will stay there...

Meh, doesn't bother me, do it myself as well. I guess you're getting old ;) Anyway, just say you don't like it, what have you got to lose? If she's checking out of habit, she will not mind you saying it. If it's out of disinterest, then, like you said, you probably don't want to be there anyway.
