I have been on this forum for a good 6 months reading things that are interesting and helpful but I never took the time to check out this section of the forums. So basically here's my situation; I have been studying and reading game for the last year. I started with Neil Strauss' "The Game" like most people I meet on this forum. Since I read that I have begun to realize how much the game has changed since MM and now I am trying to suck in as much info and knowledge as I can. Now here's where I think I screwed up. I was told that in order to develop properly in the game, it is best to field test field test field test (before you open your mind to a lot of the advanced PU stuff) I however read and digested all the knowledge before I actually tested it which is why I find myself over complicating things by thinking more about what game I WILL run on someone rather than actually going up and RUNNING game on someone. This is why I struggle to actually approach unless I am just getting out of the chatroom after getting some solid advice from some of the moderators.
Anyways, what I would like to get out of game is just become a more confident person and be the guy that chicks will be like "Hey we are going to _____ oh we should totally invite Showstop because he is ________ (insert positive adjective here) Lays aren't that important to me right now but OBVIOUSLY I wouldn't turn it down. I'm looking to get better at being able to approach because although its the simplest step, its the hardest thing to get pass for me as well as many beginners. I think that if I could get to the point where I could actively approach any girl I find attractive, I could handle myself and keep a conversation going. Closing would be good to but thats something I would have to work up to.
