I've been reading the pick-up-artist forums for 3 years now, and the main issues that i saw from both the beginning and now are inner-game. A friend introduced me to a 4 season series called Spartacus and hell, i have to admit, it has helped me strenghten up my inner-game by a lot. Basically, it's about a roman called Spartacus, a Thracien who makes an alliance with Rome to fight against a tribe that attacks their village. Rome screws Spartacus over and Spartacus gets him back. With a cost, he is stripped from his wife and sold as a gladiator to a gladiatorschool where he undergoes the toughest training and most harsh enviroment. The rest is up to you. Despite it being a series, it is still based on the legend of Spartacus himself, ofcourse not all the details that are included.

The reason why these series have helped me is because of the personalities that these men reflect. Every single one of them went through gigantic losses but passion keeps them driven. Same as getting rejected from the field, but still carrying one for a greater cause in our life.. Improving it. These men become the definition of alpha and from trembling fear, they are forged into men that dont fear loss. All by working hard, practice and failure. At the end, they dont fear death, they embrace it. Same as we'd embrace rejection, or relationship break-ups.

It's not about the tight masculair bodies, they all started with nothing, just like us. it's about their mindset and the goals they want to archieve, Spartacus is a great serie to show you heads on how far ambition and passion can bring you, both in and outside the fields.

There are a lot more aspects aswell. Dealing with the AMOG, how they talk to women, shit-tests, dialogue (The best part imo) ... When you've read some PUA books, and watch these series, you'll often say - Fuck man, that was fucking godlike!

Anyway, i highly recommend these series, they WILL teach you a lot.

Awesome quote i run by - A man must accept his faith, or be destroyed by it.

Trailer - will get you warmed up.

Things I learnt so far:

1) Wording & a powerful way of bringing your message.
2) Definition of alpha.
3) You have 2 ways of living, you either end up chasing someone's dream, or end up chasing yours. The choice is for you to decide.
4) Being the AMOG without being an arse to your surroundings.
5) Live for yourself, not for others. Society has us bound, parents want us secured, we follow other rules, not ours. Take a turn, and start your own wishes and desires.
6) Passion, how to reflect it, what it does with a person.
7) Beliefs/opinions & the importance.
8) How to deal with rejections and become stronger.
9) How to deal with shit-tests.
10) Does a body or a face really decide for those HB10's to fuck with us or not? No, it's what's inside your head that does.

There's probably a lot more.

Whatever works for you, but there are many shows that have similar themes. I bet many have seen the show, but I wouldn't suggest it as a learning mechanism. Yeah, it's a good show, although it's too bad it doesn't fully match up with history.

The show does somewhat of a good job of using language, but this is why the show is more unrealistic. It takes away pleasure from realism, but nonetheless, people on it can say some good things. I would suggest to read The Prince, A Book of Five Rings, On War, Mastering the Art of War, The Art of War and Battle Studies. It will give you similar language and teach you to apply the concepts to everyday situations. You can't flip something made for full entertainment purpose into a teaching method. Even if you can, I would suggest watching Californication instead. Twice.

This list is complete bullshit if you don't go into explaining each of those points.
1. I can give you much better methods of learning language and powerful delivery.
2. What is the definition of alpha and why would you want to be "alpha"?
3. I know what you mean, but how does the show teach this?
4. How does the show teach this? What are some examples?
5. How can you see this theme in the show? Because Spartacus wants to be free? Most of the other characters want fame on the arena, which is living for others.
6. Where is this in the show?
7. Generalized and vague comment that you might as well delete.
8. How? Where? When?
9. ?
10. What's inside the head? Considering the gladiators were uneducated, the politicians sleazy and manipulative, I don't see this. The women clearly didn't want to have sex with the Romans who had a good head on their shoulders, but instead were attracted to the animalistic and strong gladiators. The physical appearance of muscular men added to the animalistic desire. The theme with this was more of breaking free from society, though.

If you can show me where you saw these, that'd be chill. Otherwise, I can also make a super vague list of themes that are in every other series.

Why would it not be learning material? You think the makers of it just shat random personalities? There is a lot of psychology added to the serie, hence making it so good. Master pua's tell us to study george clooney's or james bond movies, it has it's meaning.

Unrealistic? There's more reality then you think, do you think pick-up artist is something magical? Pick-up artist is about learning how we instinctively work, how we can use it, how we can understand it. This series will show you face on how it works. It explains our biological needs, what a man or woman is made for and how we utilize it.

1) Everyone has their style, there aint no best. For a learner like me, i have learned and used what i saw and it's damn amazing, otherwise i wouldn't be recommending this.
2) An alpha is simple, a person chasing dreams with the balls to chase it. You do what you desire, whatever it takes. You get what you want without the cost of loved ones.
3) More of a realisation, spartacus was fueled by passion, he lived his own life. Look at yours, look at ours, do we really live by what we believe is right? We are driven by society, nothing less.
4) Because of the band they all share, they chase their dreams, but they wont stab their brothers.
5) Did you watch the series? How many times did he have the chance to end it all, for a price? People tried to bribe him, fuck him, he was offered choices to surrender and become a slave.. Live life another day. but he chose not to and do what he thinks is right.
6) Where? The whole serie is based upon passion and spirit.
7) Delete? Why is that? The serie showed indifferences between these men, the strongness of a will, if you opened your eyes, maybe you would've seen.
8) The serie is all based upon rejection, he had to earn his place as a gladiator, the hard way. Slaves that did not want to follow him, Rome that would not give in. It's all rejection in a different way, but he dealt with it the way you should. Move on and do what you're supposed to do.
9) How many times were they questioned, tested, how hard did try to screw eachother over by words? When Glabber met Spartacus, trying to put him down, he only came back twice as hard.
10) Easy answer, your mindset, the way you live, that's what makes you attractive. The person you are, not only how you reflect it, but how you actually ''be it''. Was Spartacus really an animal? He was, at times where it was needed. But inside him was a vulnerable person fighting for his cause, yet he had a gem in his arms every night. Look at the series and see who had the girls, those with stories to back 'em up, those with experience, the people who were truely best of their kind, those who lived and those who were valuable by mind. There were 100's of good looking gladiator's, yet those with heart got the quality girls.

If you can show me where you saw these, that'd be chill. Otherwise, I can also make a super vague list of themes that are in every other series.

Make a vague list, if it helps, it helps. If you're denying the fact that all of this is learning throughout the series, skip it and find another thread. I'm here to share my experiences and what has helped me. We all share stories, yet we all face it differently.

Because you're modeling off of poorly written characters. Spartacus isn't meant to have deep characters. When DeKnight wrote the series he put more emphasis on making an entertaining show with simple themes for lay people. You don't see many intricate emotions in the series, except for Gannicus in the last season; even then, his character had some new sides, but most of it was still basic. Knowing DeKnight and Fletcher, no, personalities weren't random. Were they meant to inspire you to be a present-day warrior? Maybe. Were they meant to put intricate psychology into your brain? No.

This is when I realized you're talking out of your ass. If you think a group of slaves can spit out intelligent and educated thoughts, you're a lost child. A slave wouldn't have the knowledge to be a great tactician- something that officers were taught back in the day. You can't expect a slave to whip out eloquent language. The famous gladiators weren't treated as everyone else. The "art of pick-up" isn't about learning how we instinctively work, that's what cognitive psychology is for. The show won't show you anything different than Game of Thrones, Vikings, or Rome. All of the shows I just mentioned have much more psychology, philosophy, and character development than Spartacus. I'm not trying to hate on it, that's just the way the script was written. If you need an explanation for what men and women are made for, and what their biological needs are, you need to stop watching TV and go to school. At least turn it off and grab a book to read.

I appreciate your explanations, and I understand where you're coming from, but it seems like you're a person who watches a bunch of entertainment and just now had an epiphany that there were basic themes involved in it. I had one of these when I was in 6th grade and also wanted to tell people about it. I don't blame you, don't get me wrong. I understand where you're coming from.

I told you, to each his own. I commented by saying that there are better ways to learn about seduction than watching a television show with simple themes in it. I agree that you can learn from watching television, but there are better shows that can show you how to be a man.

Maybe it just doesn't fit your style, you have pick-up artists that focus mainly on pulling out the emotions unsubconsciously thus creating attraction that way (comfort zone, kino, push-pull, ...) but you also have those that are straight up with their intentions, being a beast as they call it, being dominant etc.. The series do not represent a pick-up style, more of a mindset, a different way to do it, some rules that we are all taught (confidence, leadership, attitude, ...). I think you're missing the entire essence of my reasoning, you seem to think i'm talking about screaming half naked in a club with a masculair body talking about the afterlife?

Who says i'm talking about the slaves? Think furthur then your dick is bringing you, you seem to have relowered yourself to becoming personal now, it doesn't mean that you dont believe any of this, that the shit is either black or white. Spartacus was not an ordinary slave, he was a leader before, there were other characters like the entire Rome empire, Glabber, Crassus, Caesar, many more with educated minds. With instinctively, i meant unsubconcious, woman crave for a man with ideals, confidence, leadership. That's the essence of value. I've read a lot about biological needs for both men and woman, how the importance of a good offspring influences the decision making between the millions of fishes swimming around. Again, you're making an assumption, either give constructive criticism, or dont. No need to talk me down by relating it to studies or not, i have done my fair share in a bachelor psychology degree.

Fast of the furious was also made purely for entertainment, yet again, master pua's did recommend studying Vin Diesels style. I believe everyone has their opinion, there might be better things for you, i still know for myself that watching Spartacus has showed me a few beautiful tricks that have helped for me. Basically you're referring to me as a child in a euphoric state of mind? So everyone you disagree with is young of mind? You make me question your attitude. I have no problems discussing opinions, i respect all of 'em, but the way you try to reach is unrespectful.
