Hi guys, I'm new here and I need help with something. I will try to keep this concise.
I want to know how you guys would handle this if you were in my place.

Even though this is long distance, I think there is potential for a long-term relationship, which is what I am seeking.

She lives in another country (Day/night time zone difference). So we only talk whenever both of us are awake at the same time. Saw each other in her country (step mother and her mother are good friends). Didn't exchange words, but definitely made eye contact a few times. Added her on FB after returning back to my country, got her number, and have been only texting since then. Texted a lot for the first week (always positive, cocky/funny at the right times, etc), and now running out of things to talk about. Interest is still there between both of us, but it seems to me that it will probably die down if I don't keep this tight.
She has shown great interest towards me since we began our interaction, but I am worried because I know that many guys are after her where she lives. She has told me everything about herself in a direct manner, and it seems like the opportunity to turn this into a long-term relationship is up to me.

The problem is that I have no idea how to turn -whatever we currently have- into a potential, long term relationship. I have never been in a long term relationship, and this is an even crazier situation as we are day and night apart.

How can I take this to the next level? We have only been texting. Haven't called or video called each other yet. What would you do to continue to keep this interest as long as possible and translate into a relationship?

Don't even bother. This is so fucking pointless that I don't even know why you're asking. How often do you expect to see this girl? Lots of other guys are after her? She'll cheat on you the second she gets bored.

Everything about this is wrong. You never spoke to her while you were there? Why? You've been doing text game for a week?

Even if she is into you, this is an ultimately pointless endeavour that can only end in you getting disappointed. How often would you be able to see this girl?

The above poster is right in this instance. Had you at least talked to her, let alone had sex with her, I could have possibly seen this going somewhere, but since you did neither you are thinking about having a relationship with someone you do not even know! What if she has Aids! What if she's really a man! What if she has 5 boyfriends right now! Dude you don't know her. Let go of her.

Hey mate I gotta say I agree with the other posters as well. Think about it for a minute you think there's ltr potential with a girl you made eye contact with in a different country. Like it was previously mentioned you know nothing about her, but if you feel strongly enough about it you should call her/SPAM get a little more personal then texting. Then once if you're still hellbent on seeing this girl and are up for an adventure go visit her or get her to come see you. That's how I would do it if I was absolutely desperate to see her but my best advice is move on and find a new girl. Good luck.
