Some guys still seem to believe that keeping girls in the loop in a sense, for months, she will magically come around.
In my experience, if I haven't met up with the girl within a week as you'd said, for me, the vibe instantly goes cold, and she will never come around again from being a flaky chic.
I used to do this, I still do this to an extent. I got this from Paul Janka. If a girl flakes on me and doesn't make an effort to change I delete the number. However in 3 circumstances in the last few months, the girl texted me back a few weeks after and asked how I was doing. I didn't have their number, so I didn't know who the hell it was. Girl 1 I LUCKILY guessed who it was because of the area code and turned out to be one of the best lays I've ever had, Girl 2 I asked who it was and it was some chick who was fat from POF, Girl 3 I asked who it was and she never wrote back. Also another girl who I reopened when I found her number on my phone bill after deleting it, and we met up and spent a night together, of course she was married so that didn't end well (her crying). So, I dunno. Sometimes they do come around.
