you probably didn't have the confidence or look right to pull it off and it was very obvious what you were doing. she was probably young as well. do you know her? if she knows you and you represent a social group she rejects then it would also explain her reaction. the way you dress might be total turn off too.

Guys with girlfriends aren't going to beat you up for talking to them. Usually when I see a guy with a girl I want to talk to, I talk to the guy first about something in the situation, current event, sports, etc and I don't look at his girlfriend while I'm talking to him. A lot of times I will find out, they aren't together and he will walk away.

How old are you anyway? 14? Where was the boyfriend when you said this? How do you know he was the boyfriend?
